TemplatePlazza has some very interesting templates and original designs. Today I will be reviewing their Microblog template. Microblog has a pretty funky look and I'm not sure it will fit many people's needs, but it is original - and that counts for something. As for usability, It failes only in one criteria, it doesn't have a utilities menu... I've noticed another usability problem with the bottom module positions, the text is very dark over a dark background (see demo), so it makes it hard to read. However this is not one of our criteria (maybe it should be) so the score is still 9 out of 10.
